About Amplify: Sometimes, issues raised by Poverty Truth Commissioners need attention at the national level — that’s where Amplify comes in. Commissioners from local PTCs across the UK collaborate on key themes such as housing, mental health and the cost of living, aiming to drive change on a larger scale.
What’s happening at this coffee morning? The focus of this meeting is to select new themes for Amplify to work on from next year. We’ll be choosing two themes from the following, which were shortlisted with Charity Members and at the Commissioners’ Gathering:
- Disability & social security (PIP)
- Education & families in poverty
- Neurodiversity – diagnosis & support
- Housing – supported accommodation
- Housing – social rented sector disrepair
